Rineta Hoxha
Master of Arts in Economics at Vanderbilt University
Ms. Hoxha graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Master of Arts degree.
For her bachelor studies, she graduated with highest honors from the American University in Kosovo (A.U.K) where she studied Economics & Statistics and Public Policy & Governance. As a sophomore she served as an English tutor at the A.U.K Academic Support Center. During her last year of studies and after graduation she worked as a Program Associate for the IPKO Foundation. Complementary to her studies at A.U.K, she attended two international summer schools - one at the University of Ljubljana in 2011 and the other at the University of Vienna in 2012.
In 2014, Ms. Hoxha co-founded a youth-oriented NGO in Prishtina named Prosperity Initiative in Kosovo (PIKS) and continued to support the PIKS team even during her master studies in Nashville, Tennessee. As part of her degree, she worked in projects related to development, one of them aiming to tackle children malnutrition in Guatemala.
