Certificate in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination at West Virginia University
Mr. Mormorina completed his certificate in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination at the West Virginia University.
He has a Bachelor of Management and Information Technology degree from the University of Prishtina, and he is currently enrolled in a Master’s program for Business and Economy at the University for Business and Technology (UBT). Mr. Mormorina also works as Senior Internal Auditor and Audit Team Leader at the Foundation for International Community Assistance (FINCA).
In 2012, through a scholarship funded by American Councils for International Education, he attended the Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination program at the University of West Virginia, where he successfully completed the first semester. With the TLP-SP Professional Certificate scholarship, Mr. Mormorina continued with the second semester of the FAFE program and obtained a certificate in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination. Moreover, he is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Through the FAFE program, Mr. Mormorina was able to take professional classes in Fraud Investigation, Fraud Data Analysis, Fraud Criminology/Legal Issues and Advanced Fraud Investigation. Now, he considers himself to be more professionally prepared and hopes to help improve Kosovo's general business environment by fighting corruption, misappropriate and misuse of official positions.
